Found in the main navigation, the Trends section contains different visual reports showing you trend data of local policy issues. Use the reports to see where your critical issues are most prevalent and anticipate the issues gaining momentum in the local governments you track.
To start, we support two visualization options:
- Over Time: Key issues/topic and what is the volume of mentions over time?
- By Location: Key issues/topics and where are they showing up the most

Feature Notes
- Trends data aggregation will happen once per week on the back end which means if you pull a report on Tuesday and Thursday, it will be the same.
- The counts returned on visualizations represent the number of documents where the topic was mentioned, not the number of individual snippets.
- Like other tools, Trends is limited to the geography and topics your organization is subscribed to.
